              Mechanical Service Engineer

              Nationwide/US, US

              • Management of construction sites over the phases and participation in phases of assembly, check-up (mechanical / electrical functional testing) and start-up (process-commissioning)
              • Management of the assigned Brueckner or customer personnel on the construction sites via the phases or sub-phases of assembly, check-up (mechanical / electrical function test) and start-up (process commissioning)
              • Technical support for customer requests and internal requests for upgrades and spare parts
              • Mechanical implementation of all services or service / maintenance inserts for all modules
              • Responsible for hotline activities in a rotational dispatch system when necessary
              • Ensuring an efficient, high-quality, and timely construction site handling
              • Continuous progress and quality control of the project on the construction sites
              • Ensuring comprehensive information transfer to project managers and supervisors
              • Preparation of all official construction site and service documents, for example: Job descriptions, measurement logs, logbook, expense reports etc.
              • Lead and execute inhouse and on-site Customer Training
              • Domestic and International travel as required to meet customer’s schedule
              • Enforcement of occupational safety, plant safety and health measures according to the instructions of the site manager and/or customer
              • Candidate should have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar field
              • IT skills and good knowledge in automation systems
              • Preferably experience with machinery equipment in plastics industry
              • Preferably basic knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics
              • Team player with solution-oriented and responsible way of working
              • Willingness to travel abroad for longer time periods (up to 2 month) and travel in the U.S.
              • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
              • 5 Years in a related field
              • Allowed to work for any employer in the U.S.
