Job Description
Job Description Header: 
  • Technical responsibility for a defined area of expertise or plant component, including the development and implementation of technical concepts
  • Support of quotation, development, and product projects, including functional descriptions, design calculations, and documentation
  • Delivery of training sessions covering product technology, safety, functionality, and operation
  • Remote access activities, commissioning, check-ups, and production start-ups at film production lines worldwide, including preparation of reports
  • Ensuring contractual performance parameters and providing technical consulting on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs – on-site or remotely
  • Planning and coordination of customer training as well as supervision of on-site activities (including coordination of external contractors)
  • Preparation of production and process documentation and support during acceptance testing of systems and components
  • Regular exchange with colleagues from platform companies and willingness to travel internationally
Job Description: 
  • Completed engineering degree (University / Technical University / University of Applied Sciences) or qualification as a technician/HTL in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in process engineering, ideally including commissioning, upgrading, and service of film production lines
  • Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP R/3 is an advantage
  • Good command of English
  • Willingness to undertake multi-week international assignments
  • Flexibility and confidence when interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds
